DR. EDWARD "Jack" JACKMAN, MD

Founder, Lead Physician

The Triton Aeromedical Group founder and Lead Physician is Dr. Edward ‘Jack’ Jackman, a residency and fellowship trained M.D., double board-certified in both Emergency Medicine and Family Medicine. He has over 10-years of full-time work in Emergency Departments and Trauma Centers across the United States.  He has follow-on certifications in Advanced Cardiac Lifesaving, Pediatric Advanced Lifesaving, Advanced Trauma Lifesaving, Advanced Lifesaving in Obstetrics, and he has additional certifications in difficult airway management, emergency ultrasound skills, and light, moderate and deep sedation procedures. He has served as the Medical Director and Chair of Emergency Medicine for a Level III Trauma Center in the mountains of southern Arizona and served as a Fellowship director teaching the next generation of Emergency Medicine physicians.  He is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point where he played football and was on the Powerlifting Team and served as a Strength Team Coach for several Division 1A athletic teams..  He is a former US Army combat arms officer who served as a Paratrooper and elite Jumpmaster in the 82nd Airborne Division, and commanded a tank company in the 3rd Infantry Division (Mechanized). In 2002, as one of the initial elements responding after the events of 9-11, he served a year-long combat tour in Afghanistan, earning the Bronze Star among other decorations and honors.  In 2005, during another combat tour this time in Al Anbar province, Iraq, he led a team of special operations forces as the Joint IED Defeat Task Force – 2 Commander. After redeployment from Iraq, he left active-duty military service to pursue a career in emergency and trauma medicine.  After completing medical school, residency, and fellowship training, he served as a civilian emergency medicine physician before rejoining the U.S. military and was recommissioned as a Lieutenant Colonel in the Medical Corps.  Colonel Jackman currently serves as a Brigade Surgeon in the Army National Guard and continues to strive every day to fulfill the West Point motto: Duty – Honor – Country.  Due to his decades of combined combat, military, and civilian trauma and emergency medicine experience, Dr. Jackman brings a calm, organized approach to stressful and unstable situations.  He provides leadership, experience, expertise and excellent care in a manner that provides the best treatment possible for our clients and helps to minimalize the impact of their medical issues so that they can travel freely and maximize the enjoyment of their time away from home. When not working, Dr. Jackman enjoys spending time with his daughter Callie, as well as backpacking, mountain biking, skiing, strength training and attending country and rock music concerts and festivals. He is proud to admit that he has been a worse-than-average golfer for over 30 years.

MICHELLE “Bobbie” BARR

Lead EMT & Flight Attendant

Michelle “Bobbie” Barr doubles as your Flight Attendant and as the Triton Aeromedical Group Lead Emergency Medicine Technician (EMT). She has been a flight attendant for private aviation for over 16 years who most recently served with excellence as the Director of In-Flight training for a luxury aviation services company in Las Vegas, Nevada. Michelle completed her medical training through the EMS Training Center of Southern Nevada and is certified as an EMT-B by the National Registration of Emergency Medical Technicians. She plans to continue her training to Advanced EMT and Paramedic to further her skills and capabilities at Triton.  Michelle is a problem-solver and leader, well known throughout the industry for her focus on safety, her meticulous attention to detail, and tailored services delivered to her clients with impeccable grace and class.  She uses her refined culinary and hospitality skills to provide her high-end clients with a personalized Michelin level experience at 45,000 feet. Her priorities as a flight attendant are safety, comfort, discretion, and providing a stress-free experience for her clients from take-off to touchdown.  In fulfilling her very rare and valuable dual-role, Michelle will serve as your flight attendant during your air travel and also assists the Team Lead in performing medical checks and delivering medical care as needed at all phases of your travel: in the air, at sea, and while on the ground. When Michelle is not working, she can be found cooking for those she loves, reading, travelling, exercising and sampling the finest champagnes she can find. She is immensely proud of her son and daughter who are both serving in the United States military in the U.S. Army and U.S. Marine Corps respectively. As such, Michelle can teach you the very fine difference between a “Hooo-Ah” and an “Oooh-Rah.”
